The One Picture Book, 1 Lexington initiative is a shared reading experience where children across our community are invited to read the same book and participate in themed events and activities.
In celebration of Early Literacy Month, One Picture Book, 1 Lexington takes place in March each year. The 2026 book is Pinkalicious!
Children in Fayette county are able to receive a copy of the book for pick up at the Lexington Children’s Theatre and any Lexington Public Library location

Pinkalicious! is a part of the 3rd Annual “One Picture Book, 1 Lexington” – a partnership between Lexington Children’s Theatre, First 5 Lex, and the Lexington Public Library encouraging families across Lexington to read books together.
